Comments:    I have been married 30 years and have had a wonderful career as a social worker. I went on to get my doctorate in social work and now I am the director of Catholic Family Services in Birmingham, AL.

School Story:    I have very fond memories of MCC in those turbulant 60's, I remember being more concerned with the 6 o'clock news than with what was going on in school. Basically I worked at Haulover Beach concession stand and Grenold's Park on weekends and went to school.

I remember the teacher strike, and going to all the basketball and football game. At the time, datiing was stressful, so I did not do a lot of that.

My favorite teachers were Mr. Vega and a young teacher named Mr. Blake. Mr. Blake encouraged me to go to college and I decided to give it a try and it worked out.
