My deepest sympathy to the family, although belated. I knew Steve since the second or third grade and we were very close. I also regarded his mother as my surrogate mother.

I was a footloose and fancy free kid growing up, but Steve was focused and grooming himself for the future. What a pair we were!

He had such a wonderful voice. I'll miss him.

I've been wondering how he was doing for a long time and sad to find He's only in our memories. But, He is in our memories!
His beautiful voice wasn't only in song but in His laughter (often) and His many kind words of caring and encouragement.
As your journy continues, fare well good friend.

Sorry to hear of your passing my friend, I only knew you for a short time and remember visting your house and your mom being so nice and  giving all of us bananas and snacks.I remember her telling us that she was having you take voice lessons and didn't realize we would end up in the same band later on ,( The Epics), I would sing the hard rock stuff and you would sing the love songs, cool times, see you on the other side and we can get the band back together, Barry
