Comments:    Most fellow students won't remember me unless you had a horse. I was a wall flower in school, very low self-esteem. But, I've come into my own since I was but a child. I procured my RN degree, went on the get a BS degree in Professional Management and became head nurse in an operating room. Then, decided I wanted to follow a different dream, got my BA degree in Public Relations AD/PR. Had a great job, all was going well...then. I developed a life-threatening brain tumor and survived only to be struck by Fibromyalgia, a very debilitating disease. After working as an RN in an operating room as head nurse for many years, I had to go on disability. I'm trying to find someone who can cure me. Meanwhile, I have written two books which are published and have written several screenplays of which we've filmed a half dozen of them. I have a 501c3 non-profit production organization for which we are trying to raise funds to make an anti-drinking film aimed at teens. Several of my short film projects won awards and I won one for my acting as well. It wasn't an Oscar, but hey I'll take what I can get.

School Story:    My fondest memory was of an honors English teacher and I can't remember her name, but she was the best. She got pregnant in the middle of the school year and had to take maturnity leave. So, we gave her a big send off party with the marching band playing in dress uniforms through the classroom. She was a special teacher. I wish I could remember her name, but my brain tumor destroyed some of my memory. I do recall I believe the band leader was Brad. He may remember her name.

Eddie e-mailed me and reminded me of my favorite memory of Carol City Junior High School and that was a play we were in together called, "The Tall Dark Stranger." I was Miss Penelope Priss. I'll never forget that, my shining moment. I always wanted to be an actor!

I do recall another funny event in PE. We were in the Gynasium and a male instructor was showing us how to use the parallel bars. When he swung his legs over the bars in a split, his pants ripped. Of course, being young silly teenaged girls we were embarrassed as much as he was and we giggled about that for a long time. Remember when we had to wear those awful white bloomer PE suits? Another day during our golf set, two of the girls carried the clubs out to the field. Before the rest of the class could get there they came back with one of the girls head split open as the other girl was swinging and hit her in the head. Then, tag football season came along. I was one of those always picked last as I was just a toothpick in those days. Well, somehow I got the football and I started running and weaving, my heart pounding. Everyone was so surprised when I made a touch down. Later, the girls told me they were laughing so hard no one could catch me. I guess my skinny little legs made for quite a spectical. I did have some wheels on me in those days from all the walking I had to do and from horseback riding. I was wirery.

The above video is short clips from various short films I've written and produced.

Graduation picture. After sitting all day to have my hair done and not happy with the results, I was running late. Got my first speeding ticket this day trying to make it on time to the shoot. I didn't look too happy.

Me today, a little happier. Yet, still I don't smile!

Me & son, Michael.

Me and Garth Brooks. Love that man! Now, I'm smiling.

Me and actor, Patrick Warburton. He sure is tall, but so nice!

Me and actor, Patrick Bailey Smith.

Me and my horse, Sweet Rendezvous!

My son surprised me on Mother's Day with an Elvis Imitator. Awesome! I made him wear a Santa hat for my holiday cards, he was cool with that.

My dog, Chocolatte'. We do dog therapy at nursing homes. After this picture, she'll need therapy.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night! It'd be even better if Garth were my man...lol!

Me and my DP holding our 4 Crystal Reel Awards for the short, "Hoity Toity." We're standing in front of the poster for the movie.

Close up of my Crystal Reel Award as 'Best Director'

I attended the Crystal Reel Awards event in Plant City on September 12, 2009. I won an award for the best short film and one for my acting. I also enetered my mom for her vocals on a music video I made of her and she won. It was an exciting night.

I won an award for the 'best short dramatic film' at the Melbourne Independent Film Festival on November 14, 2009.
