I interviewed (paralegal position) with Patrick, a medical malpractice attorney in 1982. When I walked into his office he said, "I know you - I had a crush on you at MCCHS". I panicked.

Patrick and I stay friends, albeit, he was very ecentric. After my husband passed in 1993, I pretty much pulled away from everyone. I was so upset that I was not a part of Patrick's life and wish I could have been there for him.

PATRICK V. FOGARTY Patrick V. Fogarty of Hobe Sound, FL passed away suddenly on November 12, 2007 while on vacation in Reykjavik, Iceland. Patrick was born in Ohio on January 16, 1950 and raised in Miami, Florida. He graduated from Biscayne College with a Bachelor's degree in History then continued his education at the University of Miami earning a Juris Doctorate degree in 1977. Patrick practiced law in South Florida for the last 30 years, and currently worked for United Auto Insurance Group. He gave to many members of his community and sat on the Board of Directors for the Dunbar School in Hobe Sound. Pat will be fondly remembered for his knowledge of history, his gourmet cooking and his love of travel. He touched many lives with his kind and gentle spirit; always willing to help someone out but never expecting anything in return. Pat leaves behind one son, Nicholas of West Palm Beach; his mother, Eileen Fogarty of Miami Lakes, FL; his adoring sisters, Marianne Arbos (Raul) of Weston, FL and Erin Fogarty-Kellis (Glenn Kellis) of Davie, FL; one grandson, Dane and three nephews, Christopher, Michael and Matthew Arbos. Pat will be missed by many other family members and friends in addition to his three beloved cats. His father, Fred E. Fogarty, preceded him in death in 2004.
