After graduating, I went to work in the Continuing Education Department at Miami-Dade Jr. College, where I took general night courses. In 1993,I went to work with the law firm of Shutts & Bowen as a legal secretary. I was their personnel director in 1978 when they decided to open their first branch office in West Palm Beach and offered me the position as branch office manager and I accepted. It was the perfect opportunity for me because my parents moved back to New Smyrna Beach after my grandmother passed away(where I spent every summer as a child since 1955).
In 1981, I met, Bob Gammino who would be my soulmate. We married in 1984. He passed away in 1993. I have four older stepchildren. After Bob and I were married, I became an independent contractor paralegal working both in Rhode Island (summers) and Palm Beach (season).
I currently live in Palm Beach, where I am involved in various charities. I continue to work as a paralegal.
I am the secretary for PB Cats, Inc., a 501(c)(3) corporation recognized by the Town of Palm Beach as the only recognized tray, spay, neuter release program for the Island (this should please you cat lovers!
