One full day of white lawns, enough snow for a snow ball fight and a snow man, guess I have to wait another 5 years for this to happen in Houston, or I could visit David in Wisconsin. Hey let's all surprise him. Okay just kidding........

Bring it on, Robert! And bring your ax, too!! How goes it at the hospital?
Yes, I remember "The Echo" at the Cloverleaf and Kenny with his Silvertone guitar and Don Fedele on keyboard. what was their bass player's name? He sat on a chair and wore glasses, as I remember. I also heard, years later, that Kenny had passed, is that true?
Anyway, loved hearing from you the other day! Later!!

Sorry about that David, but it is so nice here in beautiful Florida. We've had a colder than usual winter. But, I love it because you can bundle up and still drive on clear roads. We have had more rain than usual, but we need it. At least we don't have to deal with snow and sleet...fun to play in, not so fun to live in it. I'll stay right here in good ole' Florida, thank you. lol

Just keep rubbing it in Susan! I live in one of the most beautiful on earth, Door County, WI. I feel so blessed that I get to live, work and play/write music here. My brother (Robert LEE Woods)(class of '71) still lives down there. I do miss it, but, not that much!
William, grats, I just figgered it out myself! You go boy!
Keep in touch, my email is on my profile!

Hello Class of ‘68 - When I saw David Woods’ post mentioning his brother Lee I went browsing through your class list, I saw other familiar last names.  The classes of ‘70 and ‘71 also have web sites, and reunion plans in the works.  If you have family/friends that graduated in those years it would be much appreciated if you would pass the info on to them.  We hope you will visit too, guest members from other MCC classes are always welcome.  Be sure to click on the MCC Band tab, although it is the album made by the ‘71 Marching Chiefs, you may find a familiar track or two.

This will get you to the '71 web site, which has a link to the '70 web site:  www.carolcitysenior71.com

Thank you,

Denise Zuccari-Walmsley, Class of ‘71

Hey Betsy...I have a 1968 Yearbook, the problem is I am NOT real computer literate, HOWEVER, I will give it the college try...will let everyone know when I get it loaded.  Do you guys just want the senior pics or do you want the different clubs also???  Let me know you can contact me at  bnechik3@yahoo.com

Hey David,

I just noticed your post from January about the Echo.  Ken Ahern ('66) is still alive and kickin and living in Miami Springs.  Unfortunately Bill kerti (bass) died withing the last year and Don Goodson (drums-he was also from the Invaders) died-was it 2 or 3 years? Time goes so fast I don't even remember how many.  The first drummer (Jim Crosby) from when I joined the band is still around...have not been in touch with him though.

I am still playing professionally and making a living at it...if you are ever down look me up.  I play 6 or seven nights a week.

Regarding the 1968 yearbook, I was searching on ebay for about a year or more.  One day I decided to go on ebay, and lo and behold, there was one yearbook available with signatures inside (obviously it belonged to someone else) but who cares at this point?!?!  You might want to try shopping ebay.  Good luck!
